Case Solved through Crime Stoppers Tip
Thanks to a tip made to Crime Stoppers, an armed robber who has been targeting elderly women in Brooklyn and Queens has been arrested.
The suspect was wanted in connection with eight robberies targeting senior citizens. Earlier in the month, the suspect attacked a 91-year-old woman in Park Slope, approaching her with a gun. 2016 STATE OF THE NYPD
On January 20, 2016, more than 250 New York City Police Foundation supporters and NYPD executives gathered at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel to hear Police Commissioner William J. Bratton deliver his “State of the NYPD” address. Commissioner Bratton reported that the NYPD is changing how it does business—changing how it connects with the public, how it relates to its officers, and how it keeps the residents, visitors, and workforce of this city safe.

Members of the NYPD leadership team met with business leaders in Brooklyn today, December 8, 2015, to discuss ways the two groups can work together to keep New York City safe.
