31 Jan 2023 Annual State of the NYPD Breakfast
Hundreds gathered at Cipriani 42nd Street on Wednesday, January 25th for the annual “State of the NYPD” Breakfast hosted by the New York City Police Foundation.
Attendees heard first-hand from Police Commissioner Keechant L. Sewell, who announced the NYPD’s 2023 Strategic Plan, which reflects the Department’s continued mission to fight crime and improve the quality of life of all New Yorkers, while working in partnership with the community.
“True public safety is the product of many stakeholders and partners. It is the sum of many acts. It must be dynamic, not static. And the response of our police has to meet every challenge head-on.” – Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell
