We are reminded that extraordinary things happen when people come together around a shared purpose. Craig Newmark, founder of craigslist, and new resident of New York City, donated $1 million dollars to the Police Foundation in support of critical equipment for the NYPD Bomb Squad. Inspired by Police Commissioner Tisch and the work of the Police Foundation, Craig’s outstanding generosity and commitment to 'helping protect the people who protect our country' is notable and we applaud him.
