Every year, the New York City Police Foundation proudly presents the NYPD Canine & Friends Calendar, a tribute to some of New York’s finest and furriest heroes. These dedicated K9s and their partners are on the front lines daily, contributing to various crucial tasks, including explosive detection, transit system protection, counterterrorism efforts, emotional support for officers, and more. Many of the K9s featured in the calendar are named in honor of fallen police officers, reflecting the Foundation’s commitment to remembering and celebrating their legacy. Proceeds from the calendar support vital public safety programs throughout New York City.
