Celebrating the Next Generation of NYPD Officers

On behalf of the New York City Police Foundation, we proudly congratulate the city’s newest NYPD Police Academy graduates as they begin their careers in service to New York. This milestone marks the culmination of rigorous training, discipline, and commitment, as well as the start of a lifelong dedication to protecting New Yorkers.

We extend a special salute to Officer Aqsa Tasleem, the recruit chosen by the NYPD to receive the New York City Police Foundation Award for Exceptional Community Service. This honor recognizes Officer Tasleem’s outstanding commitment to strengthening community relationships and exemplifying the values of service, integrity, and compassion that define the NYPD.
