A New Era of Training at Rodman’s Neck

The New York City Police Foundation is proud to have sponsored the transformation of the NYPD’s Tactical Training Center at Rodman’s Neck in the Bronx into a state-of-the-art facility featuring modern construction to better serve the Department’s training needs.

Made possible through the generosity of our donors and in collaboration with NY/NJ HIDTA and the New York Army National Guard, this new facility represents a major investment in the safety and preparedness of New York City’s police officers. Designed for realistic, scenario-based training, the center will enhance the NYPD’s ability to prepare officers for the complex and evolving challenges they face each day — ensuring safer outcomes for both the public and those who serve to protect them.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony represents a celebration of partnership, progress, and our shared commitment to Building a Safer City Together.
