The New York City Police Foundation Partners with Montefiore Health System to Sponsor Youth Wellness Day

The New York City Police Foundation is proud to have partnered with Montefiore Health System and the NYPD Community Affairs Bureau to host an impactful Youth Wellness Day. This special event was designed to empower and engage young New Yorkers by providing them with valuable resources, new experiences, and meaningful connections. Throughout the day, participants had the chance to explore the Options program, which focuses on leadership development and decision-making skills, as well as take part in a variety of wellness activities aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being.

The Youth Wellness Day also offered an inside look at potential career paths within the NYPD and other public service sectors, giving attendees insight into how they can contribute to their communities in the future. Just as importantly, the event created a welcoming space for young people to meet and interact with the NYPD officers who serve their neighborhoods, building trust and strengthening community bonds. The Police Foundation is grateful to everyone who played a role in organizing this successful day—from the dedicated staff and volunteers to the participating officers and healthcare professionals. Their hard work and shared commitment to uplifting the next generation is helping to create a healthier, safer, and more connected New York City.
